Our Baptist Heritage

We do not believe that being a Baptist saves anyone, nor do we believe that Baptists are the only people who will be in Heaven. Salvation is found in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. The Bible teaches that a person is saved by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ—not by church membership, denominational affiliation, baptism, or good works.

We identify as Baptists because we are convinced that Baptist doctrine and practice most faithfully reflect the teachings of the New Testament and the historic principles held by Bible-believing Baptists through the centuries. Our confidence is not in a denomination, but in the truth of God's Word and the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ.
